Varistors & Thermistors

TDK offers various types of varistors and thermistors that provide voltage and noise suppression as well as temperature measurement and compensation in automotive applications.

ThermoFuse™ Varistors

TDK ThermoFuse™ Varistors feature a wide operating voltage range of 130V_RMS to 750V_RMS. These varistors are self-protected under abnormal overvoltage conditions and offer high-energy Advanced series E2. TDK ThermoFuse varistors include either leaded square varistor elements or leaded round varistor elements. These varistors are made of epoxy molding and are flame-retardant as per UL 94 V-0. The ThermoFuse varistors come with tinned copper wire and metal compound wire terminals. Typical applications include power meters, telecom, transient voltage surger suppressors (TVSS), and household appliances.
