1551 ABS Plastic Miniature Handheld Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing 1551 ABS Plastic Miniature Handheld Enclosures are ideally suited for small PCBs or for use as potting boxes. Hammond Manufacturing 1551 ABS Plastic Miniature Handheld Enclosures are molded in black, gray, or translucent blue general-purpose ABS plastic. These handheld enclosures feature two PC board standoffs molded into the interior and lap joint construction that protects against dust and splashing water. The enclosures from Hammond Manufacturing are designed to provide IP54 ingress protection. The series includes a version with flanged lids and sizes available with a key ring kit.

1551MINI Subminiature Plastic Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing 1551Mini Subminiature Plastic Enclosures are ideally suited for mounting of printed circuit boards horizontally. The enclosures are molded in a UL94-HB rated ABS satin-textured plastic and designed to meet IP54. The user has a choice of three lengths in five color options (black, gray, translucent clear, translucent smoke, and translucent red). The cover is recessed for easy label installation. Hammond Manufacturing 1551Mini Subminiature Plastic Enclosures come complete with a lid and two self-tapping screws (plated for gray and clear, black for all other colors). Two or four PCB standoffs are also molded into the interior depending on enclosure size.

Numerous modifications are offered by Hammond Manufacturing, including cutouts, silk screening, special length extrusions, UV printing, and pressed-in hardware such as studs or standoffs.
