There has been a material change for the cover tape for JAE WR
Series Connectors. The existing "milky-white" cover tape is no
longer produced and has been replaced with a transparent cover
tape. There is no difference on peeling strength. Remaining
stock is usable as there is no change in performance or
connector. Running change starts Oct 2012 to the new transparent
cover tape.

WR Board-to-Board Connectors

JAE Electronics WR Board-to-Board Connectors feature a ribbon contact design on 0.5mm (0.020") centers with nine varieties (4mm to 9mm) of parallel board-to-board distance. These low-profile, high-density connectors are ideal for right-angle / parallel board-to-board connections. Metal hold-downs on both ends of the right-angle type prevent floating up during automatic mounting, and the PCB area beneath the insulator may be used for circuit traces. Applications for JAE Electronics WR Board-to-Board Connectors include camcorders, cellular phones, notebook PCs, and other equipment that requires high-density packaging.
