Using the programmable modulus mode, AD9914’s fine-tuning is capable of 64-bit resolution. AD9914 also offers fast-phase and amplitude hopping capability. A serial or parallel input/output port loads the control words and frequency tuning on the AD9914.
AD9914 DDS supports a user-defined linear sweep mode of operation for generating linear swept waveforms of frequency, phase, or amplitude. AD9914’s high-speed, 32-bit parallel data input port allows high data rates for polar modulation schemes and fast reprogramming of the frequency, phase, and amplitude tuning words.
