High-Power Supercapacitors

Eaton Electronics High-Power Supercapacitors are high-reliability and ultra-high capacitance energy storage devices utilizing proprietary materials and processes. These supercapacitors feature low ESR, long life cycle, and low self-discharge. The high-power supercapacitors can be used as sole energy storage or with batteries to optimize cost, lifetime, and run time. These supercapacitors are UL-recognized and are maintenance-free. The high-power supercapacitors are ideal for backup power, electronics communications, electric vehicles, and IoT nodes.

HS/HSL Hybrid Cylindrical Cell Supercapacitors

Eaton Electronics HS/HSL Hybrid Cylindrical Cell Supercapacitors offer high reliability, high power, low ESR, and ultra-high capacitance energy storage utilizing proprietary, environmentally friendly materials and processes. These maintenance-free supercapacitors can be applied as the sole energy storage or with batteries to optimize cost, lifespan, and run time. Eaton Electronics HS/HSL Hybrid Cylindrical Cell Supercapacitors are tailored for backup, pulse, and hybrid power systems applications.

5G Applications

Eaton Electronics offers an expansive portfolio of high-reliability components needed to drive 5G forward. Because 5G telecommunication units are typically placed in rugged environments, continuous uptime requirements for their operation and the reliability of the internal electronics are of great importance. A variety of components, often passives, can be readily added in key locations within 5G communications systems to enhance reliability and mitigate subcircuits susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD), electromagnetic interference (EMI), and electromagnetic pulse (EMP). Eaton Electronics Supercapacitors provide high capacitance in smaller sizes and the lowest ESR values. Other features include high industrial temperature ranges, outstanding aging characteristics, high efficiency over the full product life, and a demonstrated operating life that exceeds 20 years. These capacitors also provide maximum energy savings and reduced running costs and eliminate the need for routine maintenance. PowerStor / Eaton Supercapacitors are used in alternate energy (solar and wind), medical (X-rays), computer (RAID storage and UPS), and industrial (elevators, forklifts, electric vehicles). They are available in cylindrical (HB, HV, and TV), snap-in cylindrical (XB,XV), and leaded cylindrical (PHB, PHV) types.
