Mikroe MIKROE-3395 RS485 4 Click offers UART to RS485 signal conversion and features the ADM2795E specialized IC with complete galvanic isolation. The Mikroe board's digital input and output signals are transmitted across the isolation barrier using the ICoupler®. This is an IC scale transformer technology that allows signals to be magnetically coupled across the isolation barrier within the IC. This provides galvanic isolation for up to 5KV and data transfer rates up to 2.5Mbps. The ADM2795E is designed as a robust and reliable UART to RS485 transceiver. This allows it to be used in harsh industrial or noisy environments.
