PCB Slimline Smart Card Connector

Amphenol-Tuchel PCB Slimline Smart Card Connector has ultra-compact dimensions of 56mm x 30mm x 3mm (height). The dimensions of the connector make it ideal for all applications where space is critical, including the latest generation of POS-terminals and electric, gas, and water meters. The PCB Slimline Smart Card Connector features protected contacts, metal casings providing high mechanical stability, and gold-plated wiping contacts guaranteed for 100,000 mating cycles.

Smart Card Connectors

Amphenol FCI Smart Card Connectors are 8- and 16-pin connectors primarily used as full-size smart card readers. These are deployed in health, social security, ID, and credit card "chip-and-pin" schemes. The connectors cater to indoor, outdoor, and harsh environment applications. Options for landing or sliding contacts, blade or sealed switches, and THT, SMT, or flex terminations add to design flexibility. Amphenol FCI Smart Card Connectors also account for durability with a large number of mating cycles.
