The devices provide heavy-walled, seamless stainless steel tubes that are expanded into the copper fin with an extruded full collar. The copper fin and the excellent metal-to-metal contact between the tube and the fin collar ensure optimum thermal performance. An integrated fan plate enables easy fan installation and acts as a plenum to ensure uniform air-flow distribution through the core, thus maximizing performance. All the wetted surfaces of the Aavid, Thermal Division of Boyd Stainless Steel Enchangers are 316L stainless steel.
