BIVAR Flexible Light Pipes offer a variety of mounting and built-in LED options to meet luminosity requirements, and adapters with ESD protection for sensitive components. These pipes are based on optical fiber, which enables them to transmit light over longer distances and around obstacles. The flexible light pipes support complex routing on the board and a minimum bending radius of 10X the fiber diameter, or about 1cm. These pipes are a less expensive, faster, and easier solution than a custom rigid light pipe.
