Dunbar Medium & Heavy Wall Tubing
Dunbar Medium and Heavy Wall Tubing is designed to deliver reliable performance and excellent mechanical and environmental protection. This tubing features a radial shrink ratio of 67% or more and a continuous operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. The medium and heavy-wall tubing complies with RoHS and REACH regulations. Typical applications include shipboard, submersible, and direct-buried installations, as well as tougher mechanical protection within an electrical insulation system.
The CATV tubing is medium-wall tubing designed specifically to meet the needs of the CATV industry. These heat-shrinkable tubing feature an adhesive lining that flows when heated and provides a waterproof seal and mechanical protection. The CATV medium wall tubing is easy to install and allows clean and easy re-entry of the connector.
The CHWT-FR and CMWT-FR medium and heavy-wall tubing are designed for sealing and insulation of cable splices, electrical connections, terminations, and jacket repairs. The tubing includes a high carbon black composition to resist UV radiation and exceptional flexibility prior to recovery.
