EAO Series 84 Modular Pushbutton Range
EAO Series 84 Modular Switch Range provides reliable operation in harsh environments and is designed for a standard 22.5mm cutout. The device includes modular pushbutton systems of lenses, switch/indicator housings, switching elements, attractive pushbuttons, and compact emergency stop switches. The series 84 features a short travel switching system with two independent contact points, ensuring pleasing tactile operation and reliable switching even with extremely light loads. The switch operates at a 42V/100mA (3A/240VAC estop) maximum rating and -25°C to 70°C temperature range. Typical applications include industrial machinery, ticketing machines, special-purpose vehicles, access control, medical equipment, and process automation.
The Series 84 ‘halo illumination’ pushbuttons offer a fresh design and a high-visibility glow, creating an effective interface that attracts attention to a primary function. These halo-type switches are offered in three differing styles such as halo-diffused lenses, units with halo-illuminated switch bezels, or an animated illuminated bezel version. This allows for chasing LED sequences, multi-color illumination, and partial bezel illumination. The Series 84 switch range meets the IP67 standard and comes in plug-in, flat ribbon cable terminals.

- Foolproof actuator design conforms to DIN EN ISO 13850 and EN IEC 60947
