The ST25R3916 IC supports ISO 14443A, ISO 14443B, FeliCa™, and ISO 15693 protocols, enabling reliable read/write operations and data exchange with various NFC/RFID tags and cards. Various modes are supported, including reader/writer, card emulation, and a custom protocol, with automatic antenna tuning, comprehensive protocol handling, and high-sensitivity reception. The unit communicates with the host device via the I2C interface, providing reliable and stable data transmission. M5Stack Unit NFC Unit has a LEGO-compatible hole design for easy structural integration and screw-mount installation, suitable for various near-field communication and identity verification applications.
