Square D SDSA Type 1 Surge Protective Devices
Square D SDSA Type 1 Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) minimize the damaging effects of surge events. The devices provide surge suppression on 120VAC and 120VAC/240VAC systems. SDSA15 three-wire SPDs serve 120VAC/240VAC systems, while the two-wire SDSA05 is available for 120VAC systems. Designers can install two SDSA15 units to provide suppression on 208Y/120VAC three-phase, four-wire systems. Square D SDSA Type 1 SPDs are rated for 36kA single-surge impulse and for indoor or outdoor uses.
