STMicroelectronics ST4E RS485 Transceivers are low-power differential line transceivers designed for reliable industrial communication in half-duplex and full-duplex RS485 networks. The transceivers support high-speed data transmission while maintaining robust performance in electrically noisy environments. The ST4E family offers data rates up to 50Mbps, supports multipoint network architectures, and meets or exceeds TIA/EIA-485A standard requirements. Integrated fail-safe receivers, thermal shutdown protection, and hot-swap capability help improve system reliability and simplify deployment.
These transceivers feature advanced ESD protection of up to ±16kV IEC 61000-4-2 contact discharge and operate across a wide industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. Compact package options enable space-efficient designs for demanding applications.
