Texas Instruments TLC69697-Q1 UART-Compatible Connectivity

Texas Instruments TLC69697-Q1 UART-Compatible Connectivity enables TLC696[2|3][0|1|2|4|5|7|8]-Q1 LED drivers to be controlled via a single UART controller. The device supports automotive interactive signal display systems by bridging UART-compatible communication to the SPI timing required by compatible TLC696xx-Q1 LED driver devices.

The TLC69697-Q1 includes an internal oscillator that generates the clock required for LED driver SPI operation. The TI TLC69697-Q1 UART-Compatible Connectivity aligns transmitted data with the generated clock, helping maintain SPI timing requirements while supporting UART communication, multiple peripherals on a single bus, and CAN transceiver compatibility.

This connectivity IC is designed for use with the TLC69637-Q1, TLC69627-Q1, TLC69634-Q1, TLC69624-Q1, TLC69631-Q1, TLC69621-Q1, TLC69638-Q1, TLC69628-Q1, TLC69635-Q1, TLC69625-Q1, TLC69632-Q1, TLC69622-Q1, TLC69620-Q1, and TLC69630-Q1 LED drivers. The TLC69697-Q1 is available in a 14-pin SOT-23-THN package and supports automotive operation from -40°C to +125°C.
