Texas Instruments TMS320F28P551/2/8 Real-Time Microcontrollers
Texas Instruments TMS320F28P551/2/8 Real-Time Microcontrollers are C2000™ 32-bit MCUs for real-time digital power, motor control, and embedded control applications. The MCUs combine a 160MHz C28x DSP CPU, a 160MHz programmable control law accelerator, floating-point and trigonometric math support, and integrated analog resources for high-performance signal-chain control.
The TMS320F28P551, TMS320F28P552, and TMS320F28P558 MCUs integrate ECC-protected flash and RAM, secure boot, JTAG lock, an AES accelerator, and a unique identification number for secure embedded designs. The TI TMS320F28P551/2/8 MCUs also provide a broad peripheral set, including PMBus, I2C, CAN FD, SPI, SCI, LIN, FSI, ADCs, comparators, DACs, PGAs, PWM, SDFM, CLB, and encoder interfaces.
The real-time MCUs support applications across appliances, building automation, industrial machinery, AC drives, factory automation, industrial power, UPS systems, telecom and server power, HEV/EV powertrain, infotainment, body electronics, ADAS, and EV charging infrastructure. Package options include LQFP, VQFN, and WCSP configurations, with temperature support from -40°C to +150°C junction temperature.
