Fastener Applications in Commercial ESS

PEM Fastener Applications in Commercial Energy Storage Systems (ESS) include fasteners for every component of a battery ESS. PEM fasteners are IP-rated for ingress protection and fully tested to protect electric vehicle (EV) components from the elements. The fasteners expand and contract to keep joints sealed after thermal expansion. PEM mechanical bolted joints are easy to disassemble and reassemble. Reliable current-conducting joints join busbars, handling high current loads while maintaining low electrical resistance. PEM fasteners are designed to join lighter-weight, dissimilar metals.

Fastener Solutions In Electric 2W

PEM Fastener Solutions reduces project complexity and delivers flexible cost assembly and 61% savings. These solutions seize opportunities and overcome challenges in eMobility curated in one place. The fastener solutions achieve performance requirements, including different busbar thicknesses. Datacom/Telecom (SSR)

PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) provides innovative solutions to fit today's demanding communication/transmission needs. PEM fastening products have a smaller footprint than traditional fasteners, making them ideally suited for smaller applications, and fewer components mean less scrap waste as well as faster installation. These fasteners are manufactured in PEM's Clean Lab, which uses sophisticated cleaning and testing processes to meet ISO 16232 and VDA 19 standards. PEM Datacom/Telecom (SSR) features a range of fasteners, including self-clinching nuts, self-clinching standoffs/spacers, and cable-mounting accessories. SFW™ SpotFast® Fasteners

PEM SFW™ SpotFast^® Fasteners are specifically designed to allow pivoting (hinging) of two metal sheets. These fasteners attach two metal sheets, which are too difficult to weld. The SFW fasteners install smooth with the top sheet and flush or sub-flush with the bottom sheet. These fasteners also join dissimilar metals that are unable to weld and attach ultra-thin metal sections. The SFW fasteners fasten sheets of unequal thicknesses. Typical applications include HV battery connections, battery management systems, onboard chargers, DC-AC converters and controllers, thermal management systems, and electric motors.
