The programmers listed above have been discontinued and
replaced with a new model, Mouser Part No. 615-864.

Product Differences
The models 846 and 847 support over 1600 devices but they
require additional modules to support all of the devices
listed in their libraries (the modules are sold
separately).  Some of the devices listed have drivers for
older no longer available devices.

The new 864 supports more than 4322 devices (no additional
modules required).  All of the devices listed have current
drivers.

Reasons for Change
The 846 and 847 use a DOS based operating system, which is
not compatible with Windows 2000/Me/NT or XP.

The 864 has current drivers for all of the devices in the
library and its library will continue to be updated.  The
elimination of the required add-on modules reduces
cost.
