Digi International XBee® Wi-Fi S6B Embedded RF Modules - Expansion

Digi International has expanded the line of XBee® Wi-Fi Embedded RF Modules to include the XBee Wi-Fi S6B Embedded RF Modules. These new Wi-Fi modules offer smaller power supply requirements, faster wake/rejoin times, a new packet structure for IP services, increased processor speed, and increased internal RAM/Flash memory, from 16/128KB to 32/1256KB.

Digi International XBee® Wi-Fi Embedded RF Modules provide simple serial to IEEE 802.11 connectivity. By bridging the low-power requirements of wireless device networking with the proven infrastructure of 802.11, the XBee Wi-Fi creates new wireless opportunities for energy management, process and factory automation, wireless sensor networks, intelligent asset management, and more. Focused on the rigorous requirements of wireless device networks, the XBee Wi-Fi Embedded RF Modules give developers IP-to-device capability. As a member of the XBee family, the XBee Wi-Fi combines hardware with software for a complete modular solution. XBee Wi-Fi modules need to be associated with an access point for configuration. Developers can use AT and API commands for advanced configuration options.
