ams OSRAM SFH 7014C Multi Chip LED
ams OSRAM SFH 7014C Multi Chip LED is a highly integrated optoelectronic device designed for advanced biometric sensing and digital diagnostic applications. Housed in a compact SMT package with clear silicone encapsulation, the SFH 7014C combines four independently controllable emitters into a single component: a green LED with a 530nm centroid wavelength, a red LED at 655nm, and two infrared emitters at 850nm and 940nm. This multiwavelength configuration enables precise optical measurements for vital-sign monitoring systems, including heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and other wearable health monitoring applications. The device supports separate control of each emitter, allowing designers to optimize power consumption and sensing performance for specific measurement requirements.
The SFH 7014C is engineered for reliable operation in compact medical and consumer wearable devices. The LED features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, ESD protection up to 2kV (HBM Class 2), and fast switching characteristics that support high-speed optical sensing. The integrated emitters provide narrow wavelength tolerances and consistent radiant intensity, helping improve measurement accuracy and signal quality. With a space-saving design, SMT compatibility, and optimized wavelengths for photoplethysmography (PPG) and other optical sensing techniques, the ams OSRAM SFH 7014C offers a flexible and efficient solution for next-generation health monitoring and diagnostic equipment.
