DFRobot Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensors
DFRobot Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensors use capacitive sensing to detect liquid through non-metallic container walls without contacting the measured medium. The sensors help prevent corrosion, contamination, and material buildup when monitoring strong acids, alkaline solutions, toxic liquids, viscous substances, and other challenging media. One-touch automatic calibration adjusts sensitivity for the container material and wall thickness without manual tuning.
The DFRobot sensor portfolio includes a miniature version for space-constrained installations and an industrial version for harsh operating environments. The SEN0715 miniature sensor detects through walls up to 15mm thick and uses an ultra-thin housing for embedded designs. The SEN0716 industrial sensor detects through plastic, glass, and ceramic walls up to 10mm thick and compensates for residual films, moisture, and foam.
Both sensors provide high- or low-level digital outputs for integration with compatible microcontrollers. The devices are IP67-rated and housed in flame-retardant enclosures that support industrial, medical, household-appliance, chemical-processing, and outdoor liquid-monitoring systems.
