Infineon Technologies BRIGHTLANE™ Automotive Ethernet PHY
Infineon Technologies BRIGHTLANE™ Automotive Ethernet PHY family sets the benchmark for scalable, high-performance, and future-ready in-vehicle networking. These devices support the most extensive range of Ethernet standards, including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1, 2.5GBASE-T1, 5GBASE-T1, and 10GBASE-T1. BRIGHTLANE Ethernet PHY ICs (integrated chips) ensure high-performance connectivity for advanced zonal vehicle architectures.
Built on a standard digital CMOS process, BRIGHTLANE automotive PHY solutions comply with global Ethernet standards, including IEEE 802.3bp (1000BASE-T1), IEEE 802.3ch (2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T1), and IEEE 802.3bw (100BASE-T1). All multi-gigabit PHYs deliver high-speed data transmission and include the active circuitry required to implement the physical-layer functions over a single balanced twisted-pair cable, reducing wiring complexity. Its robust design ensures seamless operation across cameras, sensors, electronic control units, and controllers, supporting the data backbone required for connected vehicles.
The Infineon Technologies BRIGHTLANE Ethernet PHY family is optimized for automotive-grade reliability, low power consumption, and compliance with AEC-Q100 standards. This makes it the ideal solution for a wide range of applications, from infotainment systems and ADAS to zonal controllers.
