Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL1652N-TF-00A Evaluation Board

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVL1652N-TF-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the performance of the MP1652N synchronous step-down converter. The board supports a 4.5V to 16V input range and delivers up to 2A of continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation. The output voltage can be regulated down to 0.6V, making the board suitable for evaluating a wide range of low-voltage power designs.

The MPS evaluation board showcases the MP1652N's constant-on-time control, which provides fast transient response and tight output regulation. The board also highlights high-efficiency operation, achieving peak efficiency up to 93.4% and full-load efficiency up to 91.5% under specified conditions. Built-in protection features include short-circuit protection, over-current protection, under-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown. The compact design and minimal external component requirements help engineers quickly evaluate and prototype DC-DC power conversion applications.
