Murrplastik KDT/P-Ex Cable Entry Grommets provide flexible sealing and cable retention for routing cables into explosion-protected enclosures in hazardous and classified environments. Designed to work with the KDP/P-Ex cable entry plate, the KDT/P-Ex accommodates a range of cable diameters while helping maintain secure sealing and mechanical retention.
The modular grommet design allows multiple cables, including pre-terminated assemblies, to pass through a single enclosure cutout when combined with the appropriate KDP/P-Ex plate. This configuration can help reduce panel space requirements compared with traditional installations using multiple cable glands, making it particularly valuable in high-density control cabinets and industrial enclosures.
