Schneider Electric ATS490 Altivar Soft Starters
Schneider Electric ATS490 Altivar Soft Starters are a comprehensive range of soft starters with high-performance durability for process and infrastructure applications from 4kW to 900kW. These soft starters provide advanced motor management, including a holistic approach to energy and asset management. The ATS490 Altivar soft starters offer an integrated condition monitoring system, certified cybersecurity, certified Safe Torque Off, bypass relays, and Torque control. These soft-starters feature a 208V to 690V voltage range, a 17A to 1200A current range, and a current limitation 500% rated-current (up to 700% rated-motor current). The ATS490 Altivar soft starters support normal duty and heavy duty operating cycles. The embedded communication protocols include Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus serial line. Typical applications include pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, crushers, mills, grinders, mixers, and rotary knives.
