STMicroelectronics EVL9965C-L/EVL99BM2C-L Promotional Boards
STMicroelectronics EVL9965C-L/EVL99BM2C-L Promotional Boards integrate the L9965C or L99BM2C to monitor current, charge, and isolation in high-voltage battery packs. This companion chip supports the L9965x/L99BM2x battery management device and functions as an addressable element within the same isolated daisy chain (VIF). The L9965C or L99BM2C monitors the instantaneous pack current via an external shunt resistor. It provides current measurements synchronized with battery cell voltage when used in conjunction with the STMicroelectronics L9965x and L99BM2x battery management device.
A dedicated graphical user interface (GUI) is available for configuration, monitoring, and evaluation with dedicated firmware. Together, these tools enable simple and fast evaluation of the battery management system solution for use with the MCU board (SPC582B-DIS or Nucleo-L476RG).
