STMicroelectronics M24M04E-F 4-Mbit Serial I2C-Compatible EEPROM

STMicroelectronics M24M04E-F 4-Mbit Serial I²C-Compatible EEPROM (electrically erasable programmable memory) organized as 512K x 8 bits. The device can operate with a supply voltage from 1.6V to 5.5V, a clock frequency up to 1MHz, and an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

The STMicroelectronics M24M04E-F offers two 8-bit registers. One device type identifier (DTI) register, which is permanently locked in read-only mode. The second is the software write protection (SWP) register, which authorizes the user, through software, to write-protect a partial or full memory array.

The device offers an additional page, named the identification page (512 bytes). This page can store sensitive application parameters, which can later be permanently locked in read-only mode. The device is available in the standard 8-pin TSSOP8 and SO8N packages, as well as in 5-ball wafer-level chip-scale packaging (WLCSP) with the WC pin.
