TE Connectivity RFFLX RayFlite High-Voltage Flex Power Cables

TE Connectivity's (TE) RFFLX RayFlite High-Voltage Flex Power Cables are designed for flexibility and offer a finished cable target weight as low as 99kg/km, ideal for urban air mobility and unmanned vehicle applications. These flex power cables control the partial discharge inception voltage (PDIV) and partial discharge extinction voltage (PDEV) caused by high voltages at the tested altitude and voltage. The lightweight construction features modified radiation crosslinked ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) insulation. With braided, jacketed versions, the RFFLX series protects components from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and lightning strikes. Target applications for TE RFFLX RayFlite cables include battery and hydrogen fuel-cell technologies, as well as aerospace and urban air mobility aircraft, such as electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL), electric conventional takeoff and landing (eCTOL), and electric short take-off and landing (eSTOL).
