CEL Optocouplers

The merger of NEC Electronics and Renesas Technologies has been
completed. Due to the merger
Renesas will be making a "marking" change on the Optocoupler
Products with the changes scheduled to
begin in December 2010 and are due to be completed by February
2011. 

Marking changes are as follows.

The PS25XX series - The NEC logo will be replaced with a "R"
above the series number.
The PS28XX-4 series - Same as above.
The PS85XX, PS92XX and PS95XX Series  - The NEC logo will be
replaced with a "R" above the series
number and the engraved "N" will be replaced with a "R".
The PS28XX-1 Series -1, PS28XXA, and PS28XXC series there will
be a "R" placed preceding  the series
indicator on the part (Ex. "1" will become "R1").
The PS28XX-1 Series -2 will have a "R" placed prior to the
series indicator. (Ex. "33" will become "R33").
The PS286X series - The "N" prior to the series indicator will
be replaced with a "R".
The P29XX, PS81XX, PS91XX, PS78XX, PS88XX, and PS98XX Series
The engraved "N" will be replaced with an engraved "R".

PS9552 Series Gate Driver Optocouplers

CEL PS9552 Series Gate Driver Optocouplers employ a new BiCMOS process to deliver up to 2.5A output current with high common mode transient immunity (CMR) and fast switching speeds. The NEC /CEL devices are designed to drive IGBTs and Power MOSFETs, making them ideal for motor drive, inverter, induction heating, and servo applications. The PS9552 optocoupler features a GaAlAs LED on the input side of the chip and a photo diode, signal processing circuitry, and power transistors on the output side.
