SP3495E - SP3497E High Speed Transceiver

MaxLinear SP3495E - SP3497E high-speed transceiver series is suitable for high-speed bidirectional communication on multipoint bus transmission lines, designed for balanced data transmission, and compliant with both RS-485 and RS-422 EIA standards. The MaxLinear SP3495E, SP3496E, and SP3497E each contain one differential driver and one differential receiver. This MaxLinear transceiver series operates from a single 3.3V power supply and loads the data bus only half as much as a standard RS-485 unit load, allowing up to 64 devices to be connected simultaneously on a bus without violating required RS-485 signal margin and without using repeaters. The SP3495E - SP3497E transceiver series provides ESD protection up to ±15kV on all RS-485 inputs and outputs and also includes hot-swap glitch protection and advanced fail-safe receiver inputs.
