VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters

STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus High Voltage Converters combine 800V avalanche-rugged MOSFET with state-of-the-art PWM circuitry. The result is an innovative AC-DC conversion that is efficient, simpler, quicker, and with component count halved, less expensive. In addition to benefits such as optimized current-mode control and comprehensive built-in protection circuits, the STMicroelectronics VIPerPlus family represents the easiest solution to comply with ENERGY STAR and Blue Angel standards, with low total power consumption from the mains when the system is in standby mode.

VIPER28 Peak Power High Voltage Converters

STMicroelectronics VIPER28 Peak Power High Voltage Converters feature an 800V rugged power section, a PWM control, and two levels of over-current protection. These voltage converters also offer over-voltage protection, overload protection, and hysteric thermal protection. The VIPER28 peak power high voltage converters feature advance frequency jittering for reduced EMI filter cost. An extra power timer allows the management of output peak power for a designed time window. The high voltage start-up circuit is embedded in the device. Typical applications include auxiliary power supply for consumer and home equipment, power supply for energy meters and data concentrators, and AC-DC adapters.
