RP-SMA Extended Barrel RF Connectors

TE Connectivity / Linx Technologies RP-SMA Extended Barrel RF Connectors are reverse-polarity connectors designed to meet FCC Part 15 requirements and are ideal for any application requiring a reliable non-standard RF connection. The reverse-polarity design uses the same tooling as a standard SMA, but reverses the center connection. The TE Connectivity / Linx Technologies RP-SMA series features an extended barrel to 0.756".

SMA & RP-SMA RF Connectors

TE Connectivity / Linx Technologies SMA and RP-SMA RF Connectors are available in gold plated versions and nickel versions. These SMA connectors provide repeatable electrical performance from DC to 12.4GHz. They are available in a variety of mounting styles and with end crimps for RG58, RG174, and RG178 cables. The Reverse Polarity SMA Connectors (RP-SMA) have the same tooling as standard SMA connectors, but the center contacts are reversed to comply with FCC Part 15 requirements. Reverse Polarity SMA connectors are common in many of today’s electronic devices because they are small, inexpensive, and provide a secure, robust connection.
