LED Light Pipes

VCC LED Light Pipes provide reliable light transmission from PCB-mounted LEDs to user-facing panels. VCC’s flexible and rigid light pipes deliver excellent optical performance and easy installation, enabling solutions for the simplest to the most complex designs. Board Mount Linear Light Pipes are rigid, vertical light pipes designed for short distances, mounting directly to the PCB to communicate device status. Flexible Light Pipes offer design flexibility, bending up to 30 degrees to carry light around curves and through tight spaces. The devices are immune to EMI/ESD and bypass PCB components. Moisture-sealed Flexible Light Pipes are engineered for outdoor and high-moisture environments, providing reliable performance where environmental protection is critical.

LCS Moisture-Sealed Rigid Light Pipes

VCC LCS Moisture-Sealed Rigid Light Pipes are available in different lengths and colors. These pipes comply with NEMA 6P/IP67 standards and are easy to assemble. The assembly process involves inserting the light pipe through the panel hole, placing the lock washer onto the lens barrel, and then twisting the retaining ring. Subsequently, the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) should be slid into position, ensuring alignment of the LED with the end of the light pipe unit The LCS light pipes feature a watertight seal from the front of the panel ideal for moisture, dust, and water protection. These light pipes are made of acrylic (clear optical grade) UL 94-HB and lenses of Polycarbonate UL 94-V2.
