AirMax VS® High-Speed Signal Connectors

Amphenol FCI AirMax VS^® High-Speed Signal Connectors are used to connect compute blade modules, compute blade mezzanine modules, or chassis management modules (CMM) to a midplane or backplane in a Server System Infrastructure (SSI) modular blade server chassis. The high-speed interconnect channels support industry-standard technologies such as PCI Express Gen 2, Infiniband QDR, 8Gb/s Fibre Channel, and Backplane Ethernet. Amphenol FCI AirMax VS High-Speed Signal Connectors feature low insertion loss and crosstalk. The high-speed serial data rates can scale to 12.5Gb/s, while the opposed dual-beam receptacle contact structure provides high reliability. These compact 2x2 power connectors provide capacity for up to 20A per contact and utilize rugged guide modules to enable proper alignment.
