Unique aluminum flat tube technology allows multiple extended surface channels in each tube that provide maximum cooling due to the large surface area in contact with the fluid. Air-side fin geometry efficiently channels air across the fin surface to further boost heat transfer capability. The fluxless vacuum-brazed construction of the oil coolers results in a clean, rugged, lightweight, and highly reliable heat exchanger with excellent thermal contact and mechanical strength. Aavid ES Aluminum Flat Tube Oil Coolers offer a very low-pressure drop, allowing smaller, less expensive pumps to be used.
