It supports the MCR20A 2.4GHz wireless transceiver that includes Thread and IPv6/6loWPAN protocols. This evaluation board is a small, low-power, cost-effective reference design for the MCR20A transceiver, in a shield form factor. It is compatible with existing NXP Freedom development platforms such as the FRDM-K64F and FRDM-KL46Z.
