The PID compensation network components are included onboard. Designers can replace PID compensation network components by soldering different value components to match the temperature control loop characteristic with the thermal load that achieves the required response time and temperature stability. Designers can also modify the cooling and heating TEC current limits and maximum TEC voltage setting by changing the values of the corresponding components. In addition, designers can plug the EVAL-ADN8834 evaluation boards into the ADN8833/34 baseboard with adjustable components for analog thermal PID, the temperature setpoint, maximum TEC current, and TEC voltage limits.
