Apogee Semiconductor AF54RHC14 Radiation-Hardened Hex Inverter
Apogee Semiconductor AF54RHC14 Radiation-Hardened Hex Inverter with Schmitt inputs provides six instances of the boolean logical NOT function. The Schmitt triggers on each input provide hysteresis and allow slow-rising or noisy input signals without any fall time or input rise requirements. This hex inverter features a triple-redundant design across the circuit, which allows the device to be immune to Single-Event Transients (SET). The AF54RHC14 hex inverter also features a 100mA input clamp current and 100mA continuous output current (per pin). The AF54RHC14 hex inverter supports cold-sparing capability with zero static power penalty and class 2 ESD protection (4000V HBM and 500V CDM). This inverter includes a Power-On Reset (POR) circuit that ensures reliable operation at power supply voltages as low as 1.65V. The AF54RHC14 hex inverter is used in space, oscillators, medical imaging, and applications that require radiation tolerance.
