Glenair El Ochito™ Ultimate Ethernet Contact
Glenair El Ochito™ Ultimate Ethernet Contact features eight miniaturized contacts in a standard-size #8 shielded module. El Ochito, or "Little Eight," is 10G Ethernet ready with up to 50% total weight savings compared to Quadrax-based solutions. Glenair El Ochito provides one full Ethernet channel per standard size #8 cavity, delivering the highest density contact system available. Integral spline and short termination maximizes interconnect/cable performance and minimizes crosstalk. Requiring no redesign or re-installation, El Ochito is a drop-in solution for Series 80 Mighty Mouse, as well as Glenair's D38999 Series III, 233-217, with keyed size 8 inserts, and is ideally suited for Ethernet, high-definition video, high-speed data loading, and other 1Gb/sec and 10Gb/sec applications.
