Metcal CV-5200 Connection Validation™ Soldering Stations evaluate the quality of the solder joint by calculating the intermetallic compound formation and providing closed-loop feedback to the user. The series offers this feedback via an LED light ring integrated into the handpiece. Metcal CV-5200 series soldering stations minimize risk and add repeatability and a measurable standard to the soldering process. Other features include SmartHeat power-on-demand technology, patented Connection Validation IMC formation technology, 2.8" color touch screen, and precise tip temperature display.
