Mikroe Expand Clicks

Mikroe Expand clicks carry shift registers for use as an I/O expander. Mikroe Expand Clicks communicate with the MCU using SPI, 1-wire, or I2C.

  • Expand Click
    • MCP23S17 with SPI clock speeds up to 10MHz
    • 16 GPIO pins divided into two 8-bit PORTs
    • +3.3V and 5V adjustable power supply selection
    • Selectable hardware address using SMD jumpers
  • Expand 3 Click
    • 8-channel programmable I/O expander
    • One-Wire interface
    • Additional three pins
    • Uses either a 3.3V or 5V power supply
  • Expand 2 Click
    • MCP23S17 with I2C clock speeds of 100kHz, 400kHz, or 1.7MHz for higher throughput applications
    • 16 GPIO pins divided into two 8-bit PORTs
    • +3.3V and 5V adjustable power supply selection
    • Selectable hardware address using SMD jumpers
  • Expand 4 Click Features
    • TPIC6A595, power logic 8-bit shift register
    • 350mA/50V switching capability
    • SPI interface with additional pins
    • 5V power supply
