Fairchild Semiconductor FAN5400系列USB兼容型锂离子电池开关式充电器可满足便携式设备锂离子电池快速充电的需求，并能够克服与线性充电器相关的热量问题。Fairchild FAN5400系列在由中国电子产品(EPC)主办的年度中胜出。Fairchild FAB540x电池开关式充电器的充电参数和工作模式可通过运行速率可达3.4Mbps的I²C接口进行编程。1.25A的最大充电电流可保证快速充电时间，而高充电电压精度（±0.5%，25°C时）可让电池充电更满，从而延长电池寿命。除去标准热量和短路保护，FAN5400系列还可经受20V DC的输入，以避免受到USB端口未调过压的损害。这款设备支持通过USB端口或5V AC/DC适配器的高效再充电，并能在再充电期间保持冷却。本款锂离子电池开关式充电器是适用于再充电单节和多节锂离子电池的理想产品，优于传统的线性充电器，同时提供方便的USB一键拷贝(USB-OTG)功能。
