Controlled by the CS and SCLK signals, the ADS7052 supports an SPI-compatible serial interface.
The device uses an input signal sampled with the CS falling edge and SCLK for conversion and serial data output. A wide digital supply range of 1.65V to 3.6V is enabled on the ADS7052, directly interfacing with various host controllers. A normal DVDD range of 1.65V to 1.95V allows the ADS7052 to comply with the JESD8-7A standard.
An extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and an 8-pin, small X2QFN package are available on the ADC devices. Space-constrained and battery-powered applications that require high-speed, high-resolution data acquisition are ideal for the Texas Instruments ADS7052, which efficiently achieves extremely-low power consumption in a small form factor.
