Texas Instruments SN6505AEVM / SN6505BEVM Evaluation Modules
Texas Instruments SN6505AEVM / SN6505BEVM Evaluation Modules (EVMs) are designed to evaluate the SN6505A / SN6505B. The SN6505A / SN6505B are transformer drivers designed for isolated power supplies. These transformer drivers contain a small form-factor transformer, a simple rectifier circuit, and a voltage regulator. Each of the Texas Instruments SN6505AEVM / SN6505BEVM devices can be used to simulate a complete isolated power-supply system suitable for many applications.

- Low-noise 1A transformer driver for isolated power supplies, 160kHz internal clock
- 5V input, 5V output isolated power
- Simple rectifier circuit along with low dropout (LDO) regulator gives rectified voltage of 5V
- Provision for feeding external clock to the device
- Evaluation module tested for device functionality; user's guide allows the designer to evaluate their design
