Bend Insensitive Fiber Optic Cables

L-Com Bend-Insensitive Fiber Optic Cables are engineered to minimize signal loss during bending by using a low-refractive-index trench surrounding the fiber core. This low-refractive-index trench acts as a "moat" that helps to keep light rays within the core, even when the fiber is bent. The bend-insensitive fiber-optic cables feature single-mode BIF assemblies in simplex and duplex configurations with LC or SC connectors. These cables are used in applications where fiber optic cables are subject to frequent bending or must be tightly bundled or wrapped. Typical applications include patch panels and cable ties, data centers, telecommunications networks, and industrial automation systems.

6000 Duplex LC Fiber Optic Buccaneer Connectors

Bulgin 6000 Duplex LC Fiber Optic Buccaneer Connectors provide two-way signal transmission with a Duplex LC-Type interface in Flex, Flex In-Line, and Rear Panel mounting styles. A secure, 30° twist, tamperproof lock prevents accidental un-mating. When mated, the connectors provide IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings. Constructed of an all-plastic self-extinguishing material body, the fiber optic data connectors are UL 94V-0 rated, UV stable, halogen free, and lightweight. Bulgin 6000 Duplex LC Fiber Optic Buccaneer connectors are suitable for long-term outdoor use.
