Infineon Technologies EVAL_GD_BDS_GAN Evaluation Board
Infineon Technologies EVAL_GD_BDS_GAN Evaluation Board is a low-power gate-driver evaluation board for driving gallium nitride bidirectional switches. The board contains an EiceDRIVER™ 1EDB7275F single-channel isolated gate driver and supports GaN BDS daughter cards via a board-to-board connector.
The Infineon EVAL_GD_BDS_GAN Board helps engineers evaluate bidirectional GaN switch performance during design-in, measurement, and validation workflows. The board supports various GaN bidirectional switches up to 120V and allows users to select the gate-drive return path based on current-flow direction.
The evaluation board is ideal for CoolGaN BDS applications that require compact bidirectional switching, reduced component count, faster switching performance, and improved power density. The board is an excellent option for evaluating USB Type-C® chargers and load switches, eFuses, battery management systems, USB-C PD designs, smartphones, notebooks, and docking stations.
