Microchip Technology 25CSM01 1Mbit SPI Serial EEPROMs deliver 1Mbit of nonvolatile memory utilizing a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible bus. The devices are organized as 131,072 bytes x 8 and support byte or sequential reads, byte or page writes, and a 256-byte page size for reliable memory storage in embedded systems. The 25CSM01 EEPROMs include a nonvolatile security register with a factory-programmed, globally unique 128-bit serial number and an additional 256-byte user-programmable ID page. The 25CSM01 also integrates built-in Error Correction Code logic, undervoltage lockout detection, JEDEC® SPI Manufacturer Read ID support, and enhanced software write protection with user-definable partitions.
The Microchip 25CSM01 1Mbit SPI Serial EEPROMs are optimized for consumer electronics, industrial, medical, and automotive applications that require dependable nonvolatile memory storage. The devices support operation from 1.7V to 5.5V, clock frequencies up to 20MHz, and data retention of more than 200 years in multiple compact 8-pin and 8-ball package options.
