Panasonic Industrial Devices HE-S SC-Type Power Relays

Panasonic Industrial Devices HE-S SC Type Power Relays combine the high-current switching performance of an AC contactor with the compact size and efficiency of a PCB-mountable relay. The SC Type relays deliver 40A switching at up to 480VAC and are designed to meet IEC 62752 and IEC 62955 SCCR requirements for EV charging, renewable energy, and industrial power applications.

The Panasonic HE-S SC Type Series supports 2 Form A and 2 Form A 1 Form B contact arrangements, with optional normally closed auxiliary contact monitoring through a mirror-contact structure compliant with EN 60947-4-1. The relays help designers create safety circuits for welded-contact detection while reducing system energy consumption and heat generation with 400mW of holding power.

The relays are ideal for three-phase EV charging equipment, charging cables, photovoltaic power generation systems, inverters, elevators, and semiconductor inspection equipment. The compact package, flux-resistant construction, 3.0mm contact gap, and 12VDC or 24VDC coil options support board-level designs that require high-capacity switching and miniaturized power control.
