ROHM Semiconductor Field Stop Trench IGBTs

ROHM Field Stop Trench IGBTs are energy-saving, high-efficiency IGBTs used in a wide range of high-voltage and high-current applications. These IGBTs feature a low collector and emitter saturation voltage, short-circuit that withstands time, and built-in very fast and soft recovery FRD. The field stop trench IGBTs are ideal for UPS, power conditioners, welder, and general inverters for industrial use.

The 650V IGBTs are available in RGTV (short-circuit tolerance type) and RGW (high-speed switching type) series, which delivers class-leading efficiency with a soft-switching feature. These ROHM IGBTs operate at a continuous collector current of 20A to 80A range, depending on the operating temperature, and comes in a tube package. The 650V IGBTs are ideal for power conversion in general-purpose inverters and converters for consumer appliances like ACs, induction heaters, industrial equipment, including power conditioners, welding machines, and UPS.

AEC-Q101 qualified options for automotive applications are also available. These devices are offered an industry-standard TO-247 package, in both 650V and 1200V variants, with current ranges from 25A to 50A.
